Rotary Club of Eureka Springs

The Eureka Springs High School Interact Club was chartered by Rotary International on July 1, 2001.

In the spring of 2000 three students from ESHS attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) and returned from that camp with great enthusiasm for Rotary and community service.  Based on their interest, Rotary Club President, Terry Bushay, formed an Interact committee and appointed John Brodbeck as chairperson.  After several meetings with ESHS students it was decided to apply for a charter.  An Installation dinner, to commemorate the club charter was held at the Inn of the Ozarks.  Lauren Bland, a senior, was the Interact Club's first President.

The ESHS Interact continues to be a very active club, committed to community service.  Currently, Joanie Kratzer serves as the Interact Liaison.  Our Rotary Club is proud to sponsor the ESHS Interact.
